The firefox linux builds available in mozilla.org site dont render tamil and other indic language scripts correctly. This is because they are not built with indic support.

Here we provide firefox builds with indic support. Linux users can download and use this version of firefox to get proper tamil/indian language support.

In this Tamil New year day (14/April/2006), thamizha team is happy to announce the release of Tamil Firefox 1.5.0.1(Community Edition) for Windows.

Apart from the regular features found in Firefox 1.5.0.1 the following additional features are included in this release:

Existing ekalappai_anjal2b has a bug in it.
While using anjal keyboard to type Unicode, the ங் (ng) vowel series cannot be typed in it properly.
This problem has been fixed in this version of keyboard.
